Does ECM2FIRE integrate with my CAD system?

Yes. If your CAD can send data we can connect seamlessly.  We support a variety of protocols such as e-mail, WCTP, SNPP, and file transfer.  If your CAD cannot send data, we have written software that "tickles" the CAD network to grab you department's data.

Do you have to be integrated with a CAD system to make ECM2FIRE work?

No. We have the ability for individuals, or call taking centers to self dispatch using our products.

Does ECM2FIRE replace my CAD system?

No. ECM2FIRE works in conjunction with your current CAD system as an inexpensive addtion of features, such as routing, AVL, and pre-plan managment.

Does ECM2FIRE work for non smartphone users?

Yes. ECM2FIRE still can work with non-smartphone users via texting.

Can ECM2FIRE replace my pager?

Yes. ECM2FIRE can eliminate the use of pagers.

Can I set up group messaging with non ECM2FIRE users?

Yes. We have several customers that utilize this feature for alerting non-reponding groups such as churches, and other community based groups.

My department will be going through an ISO rating review in the near future. By deploying ECM2FIRE can I get a better rating? Please explain how.

ECM2FIRE is an inexpensive and user friendly system to managge pre-plan and inspection information that is shared with all ECM2FIRE users.

Do I need GIS mapping skills to use the Mobile Map feature?

No. The Mobile Map feature is very simple to use.  It is basically click on the map, type a few notes, and add an attachment to add mapping layers.  ECM2FIRE staff can also auto load many features such as hydrants from an Excel spreadsheet.

With the current struggles departments are having with funding, there has been a nationwide movement towards consolidation or regionalization. Can ECM2FIRE help with this?

With our accurate reporting, ECM2FIRE can generate statistical analysis for your department that would allow for an educated  decision making process.
